a) App Usage Data (On-Device Processing)

Pauzly processes app usage statistics (such as time spent in selected apps) locally on your device to provide screen-time monitoring, reminders, and limit features.

b) Installed Applications (On-Device Processing)

The App processes a list of installed applications (package names) solely to allow users to select which apps to monitor.

c) Activity Data

If you grant permission, Pauzly processes activity recognition data (for example step count and movement) to enable activity-based goals, tracking, and rewards.

d) Purchase Information

All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We may receive limited purchase status information (for example whether a subscription is active) to enable premium features. We do not process or store payment details such as credit card numbers.

e) Advertising Data (If Enabled)

If ads are enabled, third-party advertising partners (such as Google Mobile Ads) may process:

• Device identifiers
• Advertising IDs
• IP address
• App interaction data

This data is used for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and performance measurement in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We use the processed information to:

• Enable screen-time tracking and usage limits

5. Permissions and Their Use

Pauzly requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality:

• PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS - To monitor app usage for screen-time features
• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES - To display installed apps for user selection
• ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION - To track movement and steps
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC - To run continuous monitoring
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS - To send reminders and alerts
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - To restore monitoring after device restart
• WAKE_LOCK - To ensure reliable background operation

Permissions are used strictly for the purposes described above.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is primarily stored locally on your device and is retained until:

• You delete it
• You clear app data
• You uninstall the App

You can manage or delete data at any time via your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including the EEA/UK), you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including:

• Access to your data
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of data
• Restriction or objection to processing

Because most data is stored locally, you can exercise many of these rights directly through your device.
